Design for the price tag.
A dark, editorial trilingual site (EN, DE, IT) with a signature-piece hero, collection pages and a made-to-measure request flow. Boutique, not webshop.
A master leather artisan selling one-of-a-kind bags up to CHF 3,800. A trilingual showroom that justifies the price tag, plus a local Google Ads campaign that brings made-to-measure inquiries on a CHF 6 daily budget.
Justify luxury prices online and turn visitors into made-to-measure requests. The atelier sits in Beringen, a five-minute drive from Schaffhausen, without a storefront on the town shopping streets: local search had to do what the address alone could not.
The ad budget had to stay tiny: CHF 6 a day. Every click had to count.

GA4, GTM and conversion events on each request, so the campaign optimizes to real demand.
Seven tight ad groups on repair and atelier searches, exact geography, no broad match.
The campaign targets repair intent first: shoes, leather goods, car seats. People who search for a fix discover a master atelier, and come back for the bespoke work. The repair pages took 53 sessions and almost every conversion.
An interactive repair estimator that prices common jobs, then WhatsApp and phone as contact channels. No forms to fill: 30 estimator interactions and 9 contact clicks in the first weeks.
First week live: 38 clicks, a 10% click-through rate, CHF 1.03 average CPC, and two qualified inquiries for custom work. The contact clicks kept coming, concentrated on the repair pages, with demand from Zurich and the whole Schaffhausen region.
For its first four weeks in tracking the site sat in silence: not a single session. At the end of July the campaign switched on, a CHF 6 daily budget pointed at repair and atelier searches within driving distance of the workshop, and the site has held 23 to 34 sessions a week since. All nine conversions are contact actions: WhatsApp or phone clicks from the repair pages.
